Como viene siendo habitual, durante los meses de verano, les traemos algunas escogidas entrevistas publicadas en Youtube con grandes artistas. Hoy empezamos una serie dedicada a la gran soprano española.

Victoria de los Angeles was one of the greatest of the post-war sopranos, who toured the world in operas and giving recitals.
Professional debut was in Barcelona, her home city,in 1944.
Her worldwide international debut was in 1949/1950,and continued until 1997.
Among her many recordings are La Boheme with Jussi Bjorling, and Madam Butterfly with Guiseppe di Stefano. Her second Butterfly recording was with Bjorling in Rome,1960.
The La Boheme recording with Bjorling is considered the finest Boheme on record.
A modest, highly intelligent person, she was welcoming and kind when members of the audience went backstage to speak to her following an opera or recital.
